Eyes on You

When the wind blows leaves up into the air, sometimes there's a break in the clouds and bluey eyes peer down looking for a puddle to land in. Or - are the eyes already in the puddle waiting to leap into the air! Right where you are standing.

Dr. Suess Trees

Tall witch trees just waiting for Halloween. When it's dark out they actually creep forward a bit; it's hardly perceptible, but they are coming to get you.

Eerily Halloween

Have had this cloth covering our bedroom window for a few weeks until I get the inside parts painted and we can hang our new shades. The shape is sometimes a cross, sometimes an ethereal woman, tense eyes behind a teal birqa, but mostly it makes me think of halloween.

Buying groceries late at night finds you standing in line with shoppers who are heading for some fun.

Birch Nails

Some keep them undercover. I myself, am still longing for a pedicure but keep thinking I should do it when I know I'll keep my feet clean for awhile - like in the winter. but then, who would see my toes - and I definitely would opt for toenail polish! (The little blooms are tiny cyclamen!)
