Rain slows down fence project so we do what we can indoors. We trimmed the slats and drilled small holes for later nailing. You can see the chicks are getting bigger and taking up more of the dining room in their enlarged wire brooder covered with cloth to keep them from drafts and topped with folded newspaper to keep them from flying out. Next week should be warm and dry and the plan is to take the wire cage outside so they can watch us work out there.
